The AUVSI Pathfinder Chapter offers your Educational Institution the opportunity to earn educational grants in the pursuit of expanding knowledge or identifying promising technologies applicable to robotic programs (unmanned systems).
PROCEDURES FOR APPLYING:
1.Contact the Pathfinder Chapter representative prior to 18 September, so that we can expect and schedule your presentation. You may call, mail, or email our representative at:

2.  You will be required to present a short briefing (not more than 10 minutes) outlining your request.  We encourage requestors to have students provide the presentation however, we realize that it may not be possible to have your students present at the presentation. The presentation must include:
a.  Information about your organization
b. The amount of funds requested
c.  Breakdown and description of how the requested funds will be expended
3.You will be required to provide the Chapter with a written report on how the money was spent and the results, if any.  This report will be due to the Chapter by 26 April 2008.
4.Schools will present their requests:

Time: 1600 (4 p.m.)
Place: Huntsville Public Library Auditorium
The Chapter’s Board of Directors will select the organization(s) awarded grants.
The amount of the grant(s) awarded is contngent upon available funding and the number of applicants.
AUVSI Pathfinder will host a formal awards presentation to the selected organization(s) on October 2nd 2007.
